James Doherty is an experienced management consultant delivering within various client environments including Dstl, Defence Digital, DE&S, and Submarine Delivery Agency. He has specialist experience in cost estimating for complex systems, cost model verification and validation and developing business intelligence systems.

Since 2021 James has been delivering as a project controls specialist and is currently engaged as the Project Controls Manager for Defence Digital, TacSys Dismounted Close Combat service pillar. James is an influencer within BMTs management consultancy capability team, specifically focused on AI for P3M and is an active member of their APM Working Group, representing BMT at the South Wales and West of England Branch Corporate Advisory Group.
